What is “direct repair”?

Several insurance companies have selected specific shops that meet their rigorous requirements, and give them special capabilities regarding the handling of your claim and repairing your vehicle. Bertolucci’s is one of few shops in the Sacramento area approved by insurance companies for this process.

Direct repair speeds up the entire repair, minimizes the “down” time waiting for authorization for additional damage to your vehicle, and streamlines the process for the insurance company.

How we help with your claim

1. Report the claimCall your insurance company, get a claim number, and tell them you’d like Bertolucci’s to do the repair.
2. Get an estimateSchedule an estimate, walk in, or send us photos. We send the estimate to your insurer.
3. Hidden damageIf teardown finds more damage, we document it and get approval from your insurer and you before continuing.
4. Rental & updatesWe help you arrange a rental and keep you updated until your car is ready.
